We are a passionate community in the Cedar Valley, Iowa, dedicated to cultivating connection, resilience, and empowerment through various mediums. What once started out as a Dungeons & Dragons group has now expanded beyond the table, and welcomes anyone queer to join us and form meaningful bonds with their fellow human.In a landscape where unity matters more than ever, we invite you to join us for this exciting journey.

Our discord community is a casual place to get together and chat about the things we care about. We share memes and songs, chat about video games, news and politics, and post announcements about Questing Queer activities and in-person game nights.
GAME NIGHTS
We have Bi-Weekly meetings at The Collective. These meetings are a great time to make new friends, or meet up with familiar ones, and unwind with games- both on and off the tabletop.If you're a nerd of any stripe, you'll be at home with us. You're more than welcome to join us for a night of food, fun and comraderie with likeminded Queer folks! Feel free to stop by at the time below- there's no entrance fee or subscription needed.

TABLETOP ROLEPLAYING GAMES
Also known as TTRPGs, tabletop roleplaying has a long history of bringing diverse people to the table in a space where we can be ourselves... and also much, much more. The most famous TTRPG, Dungeons and Dragons, is well-known in media and pop culture, but the tabletop hobby extends far beyond D&D's fantasy realms and combat-heavy adventure simulation.Other games can focus more on narrative, exploring group dynamics, and a vast array of genres and tones. Games played at Questing Queers have included Masks: A New Generation, Monster of the Week, D&D 5th Edition, D&D 3.5, Cyberpunk, and more.Feel free to come sit in on a session, or join an open game. We also have a small but growing library of game books, so come and browse!

A once a month book club for queers
Hiii everyone I’m Daisy St.Patience and I love books! Novels specifically and after waiting and waiting for people to ask me for book recommendations so I could talk about my favorite books I got the chance to lead a book club and so here it is! I’ve spent a lot of time working my way though so many classics as well as contemporary novels that I’d love to share with you and finally have some people to discuss them with!We meet once a month and pick the next book at the end of each meeting. I have a habit of jotting down passages and quotes that jump out at me and am extremely interested in seeing what strikes different people the same way! I can’t wait to meet you all and welcome you to Daisy’s Corner.
